The Well & Bucket 143 Bethnal Green Road London E2 7DG Renamed The Stick of Rock before it was closed.  On February 5th, 1993, my friends’ band played a gig at this pub with Demented Are Go and Braindance. The rhythm guitarist in my friends’ band was hit over the head with a bottle and had to go to hospital for treatment. Luckily he made a full recovery. Unlike the venue, now called Leathertex, a shop for goods made of leather (clever name). However, if you look up the the first floor level you can still see the old Truman advertising board.
